She couldn't be as smart I'm thinking she is, sure, but to as dumb as she's pretending to be? Not a chance, you don't even make it through a day in any college being that dumb. They're trying to "relate to the average person", but what does that say about America? They must think we're dumber than originally thought.

I'll use the same local person who holds a doctorate as an example. At one time I had a note written by this Dr. on which there was used instead of they're, applaud was badly misspelled (don't even remember how it was spelled now), finished was misspelled, crossed out and replaced with done, and polite was misspelled. There were a lot more "issues" on this single paragraph note, including poor grammar, misuse of punctuation and other misspelling.

She is playing a character, a stereotype to relate to others. A lot of newscasters do it. i.e. Beck, Olberman, Hannity, etc..

But, its very possible she isnt as smart as she should be.
